In daily life, the LCD screens used in instruments and household appliances may not be as bright as when they were first used. They may become somewhat dim, blurry, or faint. What is the reason for this?
Generally, there are the following reasons:
The backlight of an LCD screen typically uses LEDs as the light source. After long-term use, LED attenuation occurs naturally, causing the screen to appear darker.
Solution:
If the LCD screen needs to be lit for extended periods, choose LEDs with a longer service life as the backlight source.
As is well known, if a liquid crystal designed for room temperature (0°C to 50°C) is used in a high-temperature environment (e.g., -40°C to 80°C), the liquid crystal will quickly develop display problems.
Solution:
At the product design stage, correctly select the appropriate operating temperature range for the LCD screen. It is highly recommended to choose a wide-temperature LCD whenever possible.
